Earlier this November, Google unveiled its monthly security patch to all Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL users. Now, a new update on Canadian network users has come to address network problems, particularly LTE issues. This update also brings two new "Moves" on board.

The update which has a build number of NPF261 has come to Canadian network users like Telus. This update takes up 261 MB of memory space and is called "Security Update + Bug Fixes." According to some Reddit users, this update fixes both signal and SMS issues. The update also offers two new "Moves", the "Double-tap to check your phone" and "Lift to check phone."

The job of the first move is to light up the lock screen and display the notifications. This causes tapping the power button to actually turn on the phone. The second move involves lifting the phone up from its resting position. With this new move, the phone user can automatically "wake up" his phone. That is why it is called "lift to check phone" move.

Users also claim a change in haptic feedback and a softer color for the Night Light mode with this new update.

Reddit users also report that the update fixes issues on LTE connectivity, which is a common problem among Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL users. But while the update addresses the LTE band 4 frequency issue, users claim that it fails to fix Bluetooth pairing issues.

Both the Google Pixel and Pixel XL were rolled out in October with built-in Google Assistant and a 12.3-megapixel rear camera.
