Christian hip-hop artist, Nobl 1, (pronounced no'bel one) is set to release his highly-anticipated debut single entitled "The Blood," with a free mp3 download Tuesday, July 17, 2012.

"The Blood" is the first single released from his forthcoming debut album, "Revolution," which is slated for a 2013, first quarter release. Written and produced by Nobl 1, with production assistance by up and coming songwriter and musician Bobby Miller, The title track, and first single, "The Blood," addresses present-day societal issues along with transparent struggles with sin, yet informs listeners of the salvation, forgiveness, and victorious power made available to one through the blood Jesus shed at Calvary.

A boldly written, high- impact, dirty south beat-driven track, with a life-changing message, and surprise sample of his late grandmother, Minister Susie Owens' sermon from the 90s, "The Blood" is projected to be an instant hit. Nobl 1 creatively fuses couplets and a variety of rhyme schemes with Biblical and cleverly-styled metaphors that warrant repeat settings on mp3 players.

On the brink of the anticipation surrounding the single's release, Nobl 1, who has been evangelistically rhyming for ten years, continues to hold fast to his popular mantra "CHRIST UP, I'm down".

"My motto 'CHRIST UP, I'm down' is taken from John 3:30 in the Bible which says 'He must increase, but I must decrease.'," says Nobl 1. "It's not about me, it's about Christ. . . I'm just His vessel."

Born and raised in Northport, Alabama, Juan "Nobl 1" Mitchell accepted Christ at an early age and was heavily influenced by hip-hop culture. Fueled by a passion for God, people, and music, he began evangelizing through Christian Hip Hop at age 19. A minister of the Gospel, serving under Pastor Marvin D. Cherry at Hightown Church of God, Northport, he has been ministering, collectively, through music, teaching, and preaching for over 10 years.
