'Gotham' Season 1 Premiere Live Stream, Fox Spoilers: Pre-Batman Gotham City, Catwoman, Episodes Probe Into Child Trafficking

'Gotham', a highly-anticipated thriller series based on the dawn of Batman (Bruce Wayne), is ready for a grand premiere on Fox network on Monday. While the first episode will be aired on Sept. 22, the second will arrive on Sept. 29.

The storyline of the show is based on a pre-Batman era Gotham City, and focuses on Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Detective Bullock (David Mazouz).

It is expected that these two characters will solve the mystery deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne, young parents of Bruce.

Batman fans, who are most likely awaiting the upcoming blockbuster, 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', will get a chance to learn more about their favorite caped crusader in the 'Gotham' series. Viewers, will watch how their beloved character Bruce developed his alter ego into a super hero and became the redeemer of Gotham city.

The official synopsis released by the show creators says that the series will also focus on the origins of the popular villains including, the Catwoman, Riddler and Penguin.

The synopsis the Batman prequel series reads, "Rookie detective James Gordon battles villains and corruption in the premiere of this action-adventure series set in pre-Batman Gotham City."

The second episode of 'Gotham' Season 1 is titled "Selina Kyle" and will supposedly focus on the Catwoman and a major racket involved in child trafficking.

The official synopsis of Episode 2 posted on Flickeringmyth reads, "Detectives Gordon and Bullock investigate a child trafficking ring preying on Gotham's street kids, including Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova). Meanwhile, Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) resurfaces in the countryside and begins to make his way back to GOTHAM."
