It looks like Jervis Tetch, a.k.a. Mad Hatter, is not giving up on his plan to take down Jim anytime soon.

In the upcoming episode of "Gotham" season 3, the hypnotist will come after Barnes, who by now can already feel the effects of getting the blood of Alicia. Whether he likes it or not, he is going to be insane.

Based on the synopsis for the episode, Jervis will wait for Barnes to totally lose his grip on reality so he could use him in his plan to take down Jim. He might have previously escaped him, but this time, the bounty hunter will make sure that Jim will not be able to get away from him that easily.

The promo for the episode shows Jervis taunting Barnes if he is already starting to hear voices. The video clip shows Barnes going mad as his eyes turn red and bloodshot. It also looks like he can no longer control his emotions no matter how much he tries. As soon as he gets totally mad, Barnes will turn to become Jervis' minion.

The new episode will see how Jervis makes use of Barnes in his quest to take down Jim, and how Jim deals with the unexpected turn of events. The teaser also suggests that Jim will finally get his badge back after losing it previously, as the clip shows Harvey welcoming him back to the Gotham City Police Department.

Episode 8 will also follow Lee as he prepares to marry Mario, played by guest star James Carpinello.
