Sony Computer Entertainment announced May 14 the release of the Gran Turismo 6 Update 1.07 that features the new BMW Vision Gran Turismo car and additional playing modes.

Polyphony Digital, the developer behind the popular racing game, also included additional features in Open Lobby such as Endurance Race and Replay and Watch modes.

The Gran Turismo 6's Update 1.07 allows players to purchase the BMW Vision Gran Turismo through the Cars section of the game or unlock them by completing laps in the Seasonal Event mode. This new car highlights the 1970's race design and high-end specifications to conform to current game play demands.

Polyphony Digital's latest update also features Endurance Race mode that provides Tyre and Fuel options as well as Time Trial Settings (Off, Normal, Fast, or Very Fast). For Race mode, players can choose between Qualifier, Time Trial, and Drift depending on preferred type of challenge.

Rumor has it that Polyphony Digital is also working on bringing Gran Turismo 6 to the PS4 but none of the speculations are confirmed by Sony.
