"Gravity" Movie Plot Review SPOILERS: Bullock and Clooney make "Gravity" Most Intense Movie of the Year [TRAILER]
"Gravity," the new movie from veteran actors George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, debuted in theaters on Friday and has captivated audiences with its intense action sequences and gut wrenching heights. Spoilers for the movie indicate that it will have a bleak ending as hinted at by the trailer. The cast is stellar in this flick, and filmmaking is incredible.
Marshall Fine from Huffington Post wrote, "Filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron and his cowriter (and son) Jonas have imagined a world that cannot be filmed - then created it from scratch. While there are a couple of sets, much of the film is set in the unfathomably vast reaches of Earth's orbit. At some point as you're watching the characters float around - which is a large chunk of the film - it will probably occur to you that, no, they could not have shot this on location. Yet it feels as though they did. Indeed, part of me wants to know how they did it - obviously, suspended from wires against a green screen in a studio somewhere- but part of me doesn't want to know. The film is so engulfing, so enveloping, that you just want to surrender to it and let it sweep you up."
The plot follows the cast as a missile hits their space shuttle as it is in orbit and they get one last warning from Houston, "Get back to the shuttle now." As all hell breaks loose Clooney and Bullock try to survive the debris storm that hits them at around 17,000 MPH.
Take a look at the riveting trailer for this film and don't forget to check it out in theaters!
