Hit medical drama ABC's  "Grey's Anatomy" returns from the midseason break next week. For fans who are eager to find out what happens next, read on for spoilers from actress Camilla Luddington.

Luddington plays Jo on "Grey's Anatomy" and the actress recently revealed some teasers in an interview with TV Line.

She said, "In the first episode back, which picks up right after the wedding, you see Jo being kind of a rock for Alex because he's furious about what Shane has done to his dad. He's distraught by it. And she's there for him. And she's also ready to go [toe-to-toe] with Shane. She hates Shane.

"She's not for him staying at the hospital. So you see her get closer to Alex through that," the actress said.

As to the question of when Jo will tell Alex "I love you," Luddington had a theory of her own.

"I almost get the impression that she has said it to him, it just hasn't been onscreen yet. Maybe there will be a moment where we see her really declare her love for him, because we haven't seen it. But she's crazy about him. I think that she absolutely does love him," the actress said to TV Line.

"Grey's Anatomy" returns from its midseason break on Thursday, Feb. 27 with an all new episode at 9pm on ABC.
