Christian hip-hop's Group 1 Crew leader, Manwell Reyes and his comedian wife Anjelah Johnson, chatted with BreatheCast at the K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014 about who the new members of Group 1 Crew are, what to expect in the future, and about a new comedy special in the works.

"We are the crew," Reyes explained when questioned who the new members were after the departure of singer Blanca Callahan.

"I am the only member but I have a crew," he continued. "So like I'm Group 1 and then my crew."

He expounded, "The 'we are the crew' thing is just a vision that God gave me about everybody that is a part of my ministry, or that contributes, that buys a C.D., that follow on any type of social media; like we as a family of God are the crew."

"It's no longer about concentrating on a face or the people in the group but the vision of the group. We are the crew is about including every one out there," Reyes continued.

The singer/rapper invited everyone to be part of the movement. "If you want to be a part of what I'm doing, come on, there's no one more important than anyone else," he said.

When asked if fans should expect another album soon, Reyes revealed that he and the crew are thinking of "doing something creative." He said they would be releasing "5 songs in September, 5 in January, 5 in May and then a full record all next year so just a ton of music."

His wife of three years, actress and comedian Johnson, also revealed a new comedy special in the near future. "My second hour special is available on Netflix now," she said. "So everybody's streaming it on Netflix."

Johnson and her husband both had cameos in the film "Moms' Night Out," and Johnson disclosed that she is "gearing up" for her "third hour" comedy special "soon."
