'GTA Online' DLC News, Release Date Rumors: Game To Come Out Next Year?

Along with talks about map expansions of Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online," the studio's plans for "GTA 5" single player content has been withdrawn.

Rockstar Games is in full swing when it comes to developing the regular content for "GTA Online," which comes out in 2017, according to Game Rant. As per the publication, it looks like the studio's plans for "GTA 5" have been scrapped, since its main story mode has been set aside. Hence, rumors also say that it has been done to bring new story content to "GTA Online."

In line with the game, it is assumed that "GTA Online" is set to have new updates, which cover up to or beyond 2020. As per reports, such updates include new modes, which are comparable to "GTA Online's" "Executives and Other Criminals" update. In addition, the game is expected to feature new map locations, which include the enhanced iterations of Vice City, Liberty City, Las Venturas, and San Fiero.

As per Game Zone, there are a number of possible "GTA Online" DLC. These include the "Biker" DLC, which lets player do free roam missions; "Law and Order" DLC, which allows players to buy police vehicles to access free roam police missions; "The Luxury Living" DLC, which lets players purchase exotic pets; and "The Blaine County and Paleto DLC," which sees animal online syncing via VIP mission type activation.

Moreover, the game's online map expansion covers "North Yankton and Liberty City" and "San Fierror and Las ventures," which are yet to be complete.

Developed by Rockstar Games, "Grand Theft Auto's" fifth installment was initially released for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Mcrosoft Windows in 2013.
