Viewers can expect the finale episode of HBO's hit series "The Newsroom" to be exciting, but will the episode raise more questions than answers? There are several spoilers from the second part of the two-part season 2 finale that airs on Sunday, September 15, some of which may shock the viewer.

At the end of part-one of the season 2 finale of "The Newsroom," Will finally fires Mackenzie after she begs him to for almost the entire duration of season 2. Mac is not the only character trying to leave ACN either. Will and Charlie have both been trying to resign from their posts but Leona will not accept their resignations and has threatened to sue the pair if they leave during the election coverage.

Season 2 of "The Newsroom" has been tumultuous so far, and the finale episode will be no different if the spoilers are to be believed. Season 2 follows a story arc that depicts the report of a false news story by the team at ACN, and then follows their struggle to retract the story.
