'Hemlock Grove' Season 2 on Netflix / "Sexy Monsters, Mystery and the Dark Family Soap Opera" Returns for 2014 Premiere

Netflix will continue its run of popular original drama with a second season of HemlockGrove, which just got renewed for a second season.

Just because the show was successful in Season 1 doesn't mean they're afraid to shake things up for Season 2.

Netflix is giving the next batch of 10 episodes to showrunner Charles H. "Chic" Eglee. Chic is best known for his work on other horror thrillers such as The Walking Dead and Dexter.

"Chic's addition to the show, and his experience on such fan favorites as The Shield, The Walking Dead and Dexter, will heighten the intensity of the mystery that grips Hemlock Grove," according to Netflix VP of Original Content Cindy Holland.

Executive producer of Hemlock Grove, Eli Roth can't wait to deliver Season 2 to the fans.

"The worldwide fan response to Hemlock Grove was phenomenal. Netflix members loved the potent combination of sexy monsters, mystery, and the dark family soap opera that ended with a huge twist, leaving audiences worldwide totally shocked. Season 1 was just a warmup for what we have in store for Season 2. Get ready to be scared in ways you never expected."

Hemlock Grove stars Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgard, Landon Liboiron, Freya Tingley, and Dougray Scott.
