Hillsong's Worship is getting their own feature documentary movie that will be shot on five different continents.
Hillsong - Let Hope Rise will get a worldwide release by Warner bros. Pictures, and it is directed by Michael John Warren who did Jay Z's "Fade to Black." The movie will focus on how Hillsong UNITED became the influential worship band they are today beginning from their early years as a youth band.
"In terms of reach, Hillsong UNITED is one of the biggest bands out there, Christian or otherwise. But at their core, they're just a group of unassuming individuals impacting the world with their music. We're thrilled to be part of bringing their extraordinary story to the big screen," said Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson of Alcon Entertainment in a joint statement.
According to a press release, it is estimated that every Sunday nearly 30 million people are singing a song created by Hillsong.
