Hissgate News Update: iPhone 7 Emits Strange Noises When Running Some Apps?

Apple has found itself in the middle of another embarrassing position when it was reported that its iPhone 7 has been emitting weird noises when running some apps. This has been dubbed by mainstream news outlet as the "Hissgate."

The complaints are confirmed by CNET after asking several users if they heard the same hissing sound from their iPhone 7. The article asked its readers to verify if its' true and literally "within minutes," the author received several emails affirming the humming and buzzing sound they hear on their smart phone.

However, the article quickly added that the author tried to replicate the hissing sound by subjecting the iPhone 7 to a battery of test. Fortunately, it was not able to reproduce the sound.

The Hissgate came at a bad time for Apple considering the bad news revolving around the exploding battery on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The complaints did take the attention away from the troubles of the South Korean company.

Meanwhile,  CNN Money said that the "Hissgate" could be the new "bendgate" for the iPhone. People might still remember the embarrassing scandal regarding the iPhone 6 Plus, as various consumers complained about the brittle structure of the smart phone's body.

Various photos and complaints were posted on social media, and run by mainstream news outlets on the iPhone 6 Plus getting warped under certain pressure. This Hissgate could be another embarrassing episode for Apple for its new much-hyped flagship.
