The Hobbit 2 'The Desolation of Smaug' Release Dec 2013, Watch New Extended Trailer Here (VIDEO)

The Hobbit 2, officially titled The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has released it's newest trailer teaser for fans to get excited about the release that is just a few months away. 

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is set to release to theaters on December 13, 2013. 

The Dwarves, Bilbo and Gandalf have successfully escaped the Misty Mountains, and Bilbo has gained the One Ring. They all continue their journey to get their gold back from the Dragon, Smaug.

The film continues the adventure of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins goes on a journey with the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on an epic quest to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor, from Smaug the dragon.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is directed and executively produced by Peter Jackson. 

The cast includes Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans, Lee Pace, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Christopher Lee and many more. 

The movie is based on The Hobbit books by J. R. R. Tolkien.
