The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug New Trailer Premiere Release Date: The Cast of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug are Interviewed and Debut a NEW Trailer [VIDEO]

The newest movie from the Lord of the Rings world that the public has come to know and love is The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The third trailer for the movie has just been released and it features a ton of updates on the cast and the plot. The trailer was debuted while the cast was being interviewed during a special Hobbit live stream event. The cast includes Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Richard Armitage, Andy Serkis, and director Peter Jackson.

The official description of the third movie says, "With the world in 'grave danger,' the hobbits courageously set out on their next adventure, which comes complete with dragons, enormous spiders, and the epic fight scenes Lord of the Rings fans have come to expect."

Peter Jackson, the director of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, revealed, "We haven't finished the movie, it's pretty intense at the moment. I was up until 2am yesterday morning, working all night during the weekend - there's five weeks to go and an awful lot left to do."
