With a heart-pounding episode 10, it looks like there may be some hope for Homeland Season 3 just yet! When it seemed like the mission was a failure and the team in retreat, Brody goes rogue and sprints for the Iraq-Iran border. In an ironic stroke of luck, Brody and the team member who fell back to give him cover fire from the snipers, run straight into an Iranian guard unit.

So essentially the mission was a success. Iran considers Brody and his companion prisoners and keeps them detained for what seems like a long time. Now it's up too Javadi to rescue Brody and somehow get him close enough to the leader of the Iranian Guard to complete the mission. But what happens next?

In the trailer promo for episode 11 "Big Man in Tehran" it looks like Carrie is now on the ground in Iran making sure, once Brody follows through with the operation can be extracted safely. However, just like the mission to cross the border it looks like the plan will catch a few snags.

In the official synopsis from Showtime, it appears "Brody's loyalty to the mission is going to waver when he meets a ghost from his past."

Going from "asset to serious liability," it looks like Brody's search for asylum in Iran may not have been a cover at all. Though he didn't commit the Langley bombings maybe being around Islamic tradition is the only way he can find peace.
