In episode 12 "Rehearsal Dinner" it looks like Ted finally meets his future bride, played by Cristin Milioti. Though the episode is sure to be eventful, HIMYM co-creator Craig Thomas is saving his excitement for the show's 200^th episode only a few weeks away.

Entitled, "How Your Mother Met Me," Thomas says he would be shocked if Cristin Milioti doesn't take home a golden winged-woman for her performance.

"If (Cristin Milioti) doesn't get nominated for a guest Emmy for this episode, I don't know what one has to do to get that," Thomas told TV Line.

But what to expect in tonight's episode? Well, the rehearsal dinner is guaranteed to not go according to plan. According to CBS, Barney wants to have the dinner at his beloved laser tag arena. Though she does share a penchant for the game, Robin has a different location in mind.

Apparently, Ted makes bad on a promise to Lily straining their relationship a bit. Meanwhile, Marshall is closing in on the Farhampton hotel and might actually make it to the wedding after all.

Looking ahead, we still have yet to find out the mother's name. Spoilers before the season started pointed to the future Mrs. Mosby meeting the rest of gang individually and finally meeting Ted last. Dec. 16^th's episode "Bass Player Wanted," seems like just as good a time as any. As for other loose storylines like the final slaps of "Slapsgiving" and the truth about the "Pineapple Incident" have yet to be wrapped up as well.
