'Incredibles 2' Release Date News, Plot Spoilers: Film Arrives In 2018, Features Things Not In The First Movie?

New details on the release date and story plot of Brad Bird's action-adventure Pixar film "The Incredibles 2" have surfaced. As per reports, the film is set to come out in 2018.

"The Incredibles 2" is set to surface on June 15, 2018, as per The Hollywood Reporter. According to insiders, as cited by the publication, the film swaps its release with "Toy Story 4" because of the accelerated production schedule for Bird's film.

Bird is set to helm the film and in his interview with Coming Soon, the director teased that some film elements are linked to some concepts that players did not see from the film's predecessor. He said that he had had a bunch of ideas that he had wanted to put in "The Incredibles," but they had just not fitted.

"Certain ideas fit, but other things make you go," Bird said. "This is great, but I'd have to give up two other things that matter more to me to get this other thing in," he added.

For Bird, the pile of ideas left from "The Incredibles," was not a big things. The director explained that there had been some scenes and things that he had been interested in and he had wanted to come up with sort of an "over-arching" idea that had connected to the first film that had gone somewhere different.

Released in 2004, "The Incredibles" made a domestic gross of more than $261 million and a foreign gross of more than $371 million. Both make a total of more than $633 million worldwide, as per Box Office Mojo.

Overall, "The Incredibles 2" is set to come out on June 15, 2018.
