'Incredibles 2' Release Date, Spoilers: 'Incredibles' Sequel Already In The Works

Most of Disney-Pixar's animated films get a sequel not so long before their predecessors, including "Finding Dory," "Cars," "Monster's University" and "Toy Story." However, one Disney-Pixar film appears to have been left behind since it was shown in 2004--"The Incredibles."

While Disney-Pixar has yet to issue an official statement on the matter, recent reports claim that fans won't have to wait any longer since "Incredibles 2" is already in the works.

According to reports, "The Incredibles 2" is set for a June 15, 2018 theater release. The scheduled release date of the film in question is said to be the reason for the postponement of the "Toy Story 4" release date. "Toy Story 4" was initially slated for release in 2018 but was moved to 2019 to give way to "The Incredibles 2."

"The Incredibles" director and writer Brad Bird is allegedly back to direct the sequel. Also, the entire family will return, although they will be a little bit older. There are rumors that the speedy make kid of the family, Dash, will be voiced by a different actor since the character has already aged since 2004. Another character who is rumored to return for the sequel is Frozone.

Recently, Frozone portrayer Samuel L. Jackson said, "Every time I run into Brad he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on, so I have to believe that."

Meanwhile, "The Incredibles 2" is said to feature a new villain, Jack-Jack, who is the baby in the first film. According to Brad Bird, the sequel will focus more on the family instead of their superpowers.
