iOS 10.2 Beta 3 Update Latest News: TV App Now Supports ‘Up Next’
Apple recently released its iOS 10.2 beta 3 update and, along with the other changes, the TV app now seems to support Up Next feature.
According to the report from MacRumors, the Up Next feature will make it easier for people to access their favorite shows as the AI will keep tabs on the movies or TV series that they are watching. It will also recommend some shows that people may be interested in based on their viewing habits.
The iOS 10.2 beta update shows the TV app in the Settings menu where people can click whether to utilize data or Wi-Fi when streaming. They can also click whether to download or stream in HD or SD. The TV app was introduced during the second beta program.
The report also explains that the TV app replaced the Videos app, which was ditched in the third iOS 10.2 beta update. However, this is not standard to all devices as users in the US can still click on the Videos app.
Here are the other features in the current iOS 10.2 beta:
- New headphone icon for Bluetooth audio
- New emoji
- New widget when you click on Videos app
- Three entirely new wallpapers, but only for iPhone 7
- Press and Hold to Speak menu in Home Button Accessibility changed
- New setting for Preserve Camera
- Music Settings Show Star Ratings option available
- Button look on Music app, along with shuffle controls
