iOS 8 Release Date & Features: New Operation System Available for Download
Apple spent a considerable amount of time during WWDC Keynote 2014 on introducing the new the iOS 8. This operating system retains the flat surface of the iOS 7 while bringing with it a number of new features.
Many features of the iOS 7 have been converged with the new iOS 8. It is however touted to be smoother and faster than iOS 7 and can be implemented into older Apple products like the iPhone 4s.
A tighter MAC integration is something that users can expect with the iOS 8. Also the restrictions that were associated with the Touch ID finger print sensor of Apple devices, have now been removed in the operating system, making it the most coveted operating system among working professionals worldwide.
Developers of tech products were able to get their hands on the iOS 8 right away without any delay at all. Consumers had to wait a bit before the OS was released commercially.
Now, iOS 8 is available for download and upgrade at no cost. Downloading the update through iTunes seems to be a popular method as the size of the iOS 8 is rather large.
Users have reported issues with installing the latest update, however, tips and advice to avoid problems has already been issued by Apple.
