Apple has already released the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C. What's next? The iPad 5. Apple has been pretty quiet about the upcoming iPad 5, but that hasn't stopped the Internet from speculating over a ton of rumors. Here's a roundup of all the iPad 5 hype.

First what is the release date? The iPad 4 was released in November 2012, so it's safe to say the new iPad could be launched in Fall 2013. Some think the new iPad could partner with the iPad Mini 2 for an October unveiling.

What about the new specs? Following tech customs, the new iPad 5 will most likely be thinner and lighter with a design that could possibly resemble the iPad Mini.

How would Apple get a thinner, lighter iPad without cutting down on battery and performance? They could switch to a thinner glass for the screen and use smaller or less LED backlights.

Other possible features for the new iPad 5 could include a faster processor, a better camera on the back and more color options.

As for the price, don't expect the new iPad 5 to run cheaper than it's predecessor upon release.
