iPad Mini 5 News and Rumors: Release Date Set For March In 2017?

The news reports and rumors are gain claiming that the iPad Mini 5 will be launched in March next year. They have been wrong on the release date so many times before so it's best to take these with a grain of salt.

A news report from PC-Tablet repeated the rumors about the iPad Mini 5 coming out early next year.

According to the specs, the tablet is supposed to feature 3D Touch on its 7.9 inch display. There are rumors that it's going to be Retina although that has yet to be confirmed. Apart for that, the tablet will also have a 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It may run the A10 processor along with the 12-core Power VR graphics seventh gen.

The tablet is supposedly going to be the thinnest among the Mini line, and unlike the iPhone 7, it's reportedly going to retain the 3.5 mm audio jack. However, the latter feature would eventually be discarded as Apple intends to go wireless.

The iPad Mini 5 was alleged to be among the products to be launched along with the iPhone 7 on Sept. 7. Obviously that didn't happen and so the waiting game continues.

Meanwhile, there are news reports and rumors circulating around that the iPad Mini 5 will be integrated into the Pro line. Again, there's no way to confirm this since Apple, as always, is secretive about its latest product.

All news and rumors on the iPad Mini 5 will be reported here when they come along, so watch out.
