iPad Pro 2 News, Rumors: Release Date Set For Spring 2017?
Apple is reportedly waiting until spring of 2017 to confirm the release date on the iPad Pro 2, according to the latest news reports.
The report from Macotakara, per Apple Insider, claimed that a 7.9-inch iPad Pro is in the works and it will feature wide color support, four-speaker audio, True Tone display and 12 MP main camera. There's no word yet on the front snapper and whether or not the specs would be bumped up to 5 MP from the current 1.2 MP.
The second generation iPad will reportedly also be bigger than the current 9.7-inch model. If the news and rumors are to be believed, the iPad Pro 2 will have a 10.1-inch display.
This rumor seems to corroborate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who claimed that there would be three iPads that will be launched next year. There's the 9.7-inch model, the 10.5-inch variant and finally, the 12.9-inch Pro.

Ming-Chi Kuo also said that Apple will even introduce even radical changes to the design of the iPad in 2018. There's no details yet, but he claimed that it will also include a "flexible AMOLED" screen.
Nevertheless, resellers are now offering discounted prices for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, both the 128GB and 256GB versions. They can now be purchased at $899 and $999, respectively, from the previous $949 for the lower end model to $1,099 to the more expensive of the two.
Whether or not it confirms the news and rumors about the imminent release date of the iPad Pro 2 is not clear.
