iPhone 5S Release Date, Launch Event Sept 10, 2013, See Details & Latest Spec Rumors, Cheaper Version Coming?

iPhone rumors are coming in daily and the latest news is that there might actually be a date finalized for some major news. A report today from AllThingsDhas leaked the day they think Apple will announce the iPhone 5S. They are reporting that Tuesday, September 10th, Apple will hold a press conference unveiling the iPhone 5S.

The new iPhone 5S should have a boosted processor,  the Apple A7 battery, and an updated 13-megapixel camera to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S4. There will also be faster LTE and the highly anticipated fingerprint sensor which will be used to unlock the smartphone possibly offer other security-related functions.

iOS 7 will also be discussed in more detail with more of the kinks worked out and more time for developers to use it since it was first unveiled in June.

We will also learn in September (hopefully) if all of the rumors of a low-cost "budget" iPhone will be confirmed or denied officially and to see what it looks like and what features it has if it is true.

The new reported low-budget iPhone, named iPhone Lite or iPhone 5C, will have a price tag of $450-550 or just $99 with a new contract. The "cheaper" iPhone would stay at a 4-inch screen while the newer versions will move to larger screens. It will also have a dual core processor and a 8MP back camera.

The South-Korean tech giant, Samsung has seemed to capture a market with releasing a variety of phones and this could be Apple's time to jump on board.

The iPhone 5S is expected to have a 4.3-inch display screen and the iPhone 6 may have as large as a 4.7 or 5-inch screen, which seems to be the trend with other phones and bigger screens.

So if the low-budget iPhone does release, the question would be, if it has a price of $99 and the iPhone 5 would move to a price of $99 and they both have the same sized screen, why would you get a low-budget new iPhone with a plastic shell when you could just pick up the iPhone 5 for the same price?

I'm sure they have thought of that though, so we will find out all the details in a few weeks.

Very shortly we should receive official word from Apple on a launch date for the iPhone 5S and if a  low-budget iPhone is going to become a reality.
