Iphone 5s Release, Rumors, Specs, and Possible Release Date
According to heavy speculations Apple will be releasing a new device this year most likely to be called the iPhone 5s or the iPhone 6. Apple has released a new iPhone model every year during the summer or fall season, so that's the one piece to this puzzle that we can consider accurate. The iPhone 5 came out September 2012, the iPhone 4s released in October 2011, and the previous versions also were released during the summer.
It is said that the iPhone will make its debut during a September 10th media event. With the release of iOS 7 there will for sure be a new addition to the iPhone family, but the big question is will it be the 5s or 6. The norm is to have 2 versions per generation I.E. iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s and being that the iPhone 5 was just released last year should we expect the newest release to be the 5s?
The difference we will see between the 5s or 6 is of course serious upgrades and a new style of phone. With the 5s we can expect an iPhone similar to the iPhone 5, DUH! As far as upgrades go, what can us iPhone users expect? Thus far everything is a rumor, but one upgrade could possibly be the password protection. I've heard rumors of a thumbprint scanner on the home button and talks of face recognition software.
Whatever the generation being released or its upgrades #TEAMiPhone is sure to be satisfied with Apple's new release.
Word has spread that Apple has asked assembler Hon Hai to start shipping out both the high-end and low-end iPhone this September. Some might ask what's the difference between the two models and exactly what is the point?
Look-wise the low-end and less expensive iPhone will use a non-metal casing where as the higher-end model typically uses aluminum for it's casing. However, both the high and low end models will come with the option of choosing from multi-colored schemes.
Analysts also say that the low-budget iPhone will bring in more revenue to Apple, especially from countries such as, Chine and India. Now where does the mechanics of each phone change? There is no word if the two iPhones will be operating under the same software or not. My guess is that they won't because it will clearly defeat the purpose of being called a "low-end" iPhone. After all, we are really paying for the phones software and not it's outter appearance.
Competitors such as, Samsung are planning to up the competition by holding their release of the new Galaxy Note 3 and possibly their new smart watch called "Galaxy Gear" on September 4th. Google's Android Software seems to be hitting points and characteristics that iOs7 has seemed to some how miss, which has in return pushed its shares down 40%. Lets just hope that this new gimmick will help Apple make it back to the top!
