iPhone 7S & 7S Plus Price Leaks, Release News: Only The Name Changes, But Cost Remains The Same?

The iPhone 7S price leaks reveal no difference, which is bad news to those who think that owning an Apple smart phone is already quite prohibitive.

According to Forbes, Apple will definitely follow its business model in marketing the MacBook Pro with the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus. That means the lower end variant will lose some of the specs in order to maintain the price tag, while the higher end variant will see some upgrades along with the cost.

The article noted the iPhone 7S price leaks, which place the cost somewhere between $649 and $969.

This is indeed bad news, especially considering that just last month, the rumors are that we are going to see cheaper phones.

In terms of specs, don't expect too much from the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus as they will retain the LCD display, the 4.7- and 5.5-inche screen size. But they will be powered by the A11 chip and analysts also think that it will use the latest wireless charging technology from Apple.

Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believes that prior to the iPhone 8, Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 7S and the iPhone 7S Plus.

Although there's no clear iPhone 7S price leaks yet, he thinks that the lower end 4.7-inch model will become the "new mid-range or even low-end model for Apple." If the Cupertino-based company is able to keep the costs low, the analyst believe that it will corner about 30-35% of the total shipments for next year. Of course, the iPhone 8 flagship will corner the rest of the shipments.
