New recording artist and worship leader Iryne Rock has released her latest single, "You Are My Shepherd (YAMS)," to Christian radio from her debut album JFY (Just For You) released in May. The new single is the follow-up to "Fire In My Veins" and has gone for adds to Christian AC and Christian CHR/Hot AC-formatted radio outlets.

"Our God is the author of all good things, especially music," Rock says. "We wanted to do something different with this song, to give listeners something unlike anything else that is out there."

Rock, who is a worship leader in Maryland, says received inspiration for the song while studying the book, "Hearing God's Voice," by author and pastor John Adejorooluwa.

"I wrote this song on a flight to Naples, Florida, believing that God was calling me out of my comfort zone," Rock recalls. "The book spoke about the love God has for us and how like the Good Shepherd, He calls out to us to follow him, even to the unknown."

Produced by Arthur Pingrey, "You Are My Shepherd (YAMS)" incorporates some island vibes as well as harmonies inspired by Rock's Nigerian heritage. Jonathan Melgar directed the music video for CamiFilms, and Rock says she hopes the song blesses every believer and calls them to listen to God's voice every day, "because He is speaking."

"You Are My Shepherd (YAMS)" is available for streaming and download everywhere now via Rock's album JFY (Just For You), including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon.com, and Google Play.
