Jaci Velasquez And Krissy Nordhoff Added As Special Guests For 2018 Annie Moses Summer Music Festival To Be Held July 8-15
The anticipated 2018 Annie Moses Summer Music Festival is announcing the addition of two new special guests to its lineup. Multi-platinum selling and Grammy-nominated recording artist and actress Jaci Velasquez as well as Dove Award-winning songwriter Krissy Nordhoff, known for such songs as "Your Great Name" and "Mercy Tree," join the already announced Shakespearean and acting legend John Rhys-Davies, one of modern cinema's most recognizable character actors, for this year's 15th-anniversary celebration of the festival.
Held over the course of a week every summer, the Annie Moses Summer Music Festival is hosted by Nashville-based award-winning and Julliard-educated sibling group Annie Moses Band, known for their impeccable artistry and genre-defying music.
Velasquez and Nordhoff will lend their artistic talents and songwriting skills to young performers gathered for this weeklong, performing arts intensive for young musicians to be held July 8-15 at The Factory in Franklin, Tenn., just outside of Nashville.
As part of the week's festivities, Velasquez and Nordhoff will serve as instructors, mentoring and interacting with students, sharing their music industry experience and expertise. In addition, they will be featured performers alongside the festival participants and Annie Moses Band at events throughout the week, including the final gala hosted by Rhys-Davies on July 15.
"It is an honor to be able to bring in special guests like these who share our passion and drive to raise up a brand-new generation of young artists committed to godly excellence in the world of the arts," says Annie Wolaver Dupre, founder, lead vocalist and violinist of Annie Moses Band. "The festival gives us an amazing opportunity to deeply invest in the lives of our students."
