Jay Cutler Injured, Chicago Bears Quarterback Leaves Game vs Washington Redskins and Does Not Return, Lose 45-41, Week 7 NFL
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler left Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins with an apparent groin injury.
The injury occured when Redskins defensive lineman Chris Baker slammed Cutler into the turf. Back up quarterback Josh McCown replaced Jay Cutler and finished the game.
The Washington Redskins beat the Chicago Bears in the high scoring shootout, 45-41.
Chicago falls to 4-3 on the year and Washington moves to 2-4 for the 2013 NFL season.
Cutler has been one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the NFL since coming to Chicago. One the play he was injured, it was his 158th sack as a Bear.
