Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin Split News, Rumors: J-Law & Coldplay Singer Split after Four Months Because of Gwyneth Paltrow?

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have reportedly broken up after four short months of dating, and allegedly, Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow had something to do with their split.

Lawrence and Martin started dating in June shortly after J-Law broke up from her longtime boyfriend Nicolas Hoult and Martin's split with his wife of 10 years, Gwyneth Paltrow.

The two were reportedly off to a good start back then, with the couple inseparable in July when Lawrence went to a Coldplay concert after-party in London.

"They were talking the whole time and being really flirty. There was a whole party of people wanting Chris' attention, but his eyes were only on her," an insider from Heatworld shared.

Lawrence was also seen supporting Coldplay at the Hollywood Bowl and were even pictured backstage during the iHeart Radio Music Festival just last month.

An insider from Us Weekly revealed that 'The Hunger Games' actress reportedly had a huge crush on the 37-year old Coldplay singer ever since she was a teen, "It's a fantasy come true [for Lawrence]."

The two went through tough times together in the brief period they were dating, including the private photo leak as well as their "insanely" difficult and hectic schedules.

However, rumor has it that it was Martin's ex-wife, Paltrow, who became the ultimate reason for their split.

"Jennifer just couldn't compete and didn't want to. Chris is clearly not over Gwyneth and his main priority is his kids. Jennifer really respects him, but she wants a man of her own. And Chris has been spending lots of time with Gwyneth and their kids lately. It was just a bit too much for Jen. She doesn't want to be second to anyone. You can't blame her," an insider from Hollywood Life reveals.

"Gwyneth still has a lot of control over him, which isn't exactly desirable to prospective girlfriends," the source said, "The way things are at the moment, no sane person would want to be an accessory to their conscience uncoupling," the source adds.

Meanwhile, in the November 2014 issue of Vanity Fair, Lawrence described her ideal boyfriend and what she looks for in a better half.

"[I want someone who] isn't afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have big, passionate love," the beloved starlet shamelessly revealed.

"I'd rather have just a peaceful time. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you," the actress added.
