Jeremy Gibson's New Album 'Worthy Of It All' Out Now
Singer-songwriter and worship pastor Jeremy Gibson on Friday released his latest album Worthy Of It All. The album is the Easton, Pennsylvania-based artist's third, as well as his debut album on his new record label DREAM Worship. According to Gibson, the songs on the album focuses on the raw, broken areas of Gibson's heart, where he says a desperate desire for Christ is palpable.
Sharing the idea and the musical thought behind the new album, Gibson says, "Worthy Of It All is an album of reminiscent gospel-pop with a refreshing taste of progressive-rock. The truths told are timeless and poetic as they illuminate the listener to the light of Christ."
With a lyrical style ranging from winsome storytelling to direct exegesis of scripture, Gibson says his central aim is to represent Christ well. He says many of his songs are written for the purpose of corporate worship, with the goal of edifying the church body, and discipling church members to adopt a lifestyle of worshipping Christ.
Having written and self-produced several albums, Gibson has managed to establish a style that is both what he describes as nostalgic as well as refreshingly progressive. When he is not busy recording music, leading corporate worship at church services and events is a big part of Gibson's life and he holds a firm conviction in the importance of equipping future generations to lead in Biblical worship.
