John Mark McMillan's Song Inside The Sounds Of Breaking Down Remixed / Remastered, released just last week, September 4, 2012.

Song Inside The Sounds Of Breaking Down Remixed / Remastered contains John Mark McMillan's re-mastered songs from his 2005 independent project, as well as the original version of the song "How He Loves." The album also includes three new tracks.

In McMillan's latest newsletter, he shares that they tracked the indie album inside a 100-year-old wood shop. After that, McMillan sold the CD out of his basement until 2008. Later on, McMillan signed with Integrity record label.

McMillan wrote in his latest newsletter remembering, "For 4 years, there has hardly been a day that I didn't receive a MySpace message, Facebook post, Tweet, or email about this album.  Now that I'm calling the shots again, I figured it would be a nice gesture to give all these people what they've been asking for for so long."

In the re-mixed and re-mastered version of Song Inside The Sounds Of Breaking Down, McMillan and the team re-mixed the album, and added extra stuff that he wanted to put out for some time.

McMillan added, "The funny thing is, I thought I was rereleasing this album to give my new friends a chance to hear where our journey began. But in the process, it also reminded me where and why I began.  There were moments that seemed to be perfectly relevant to where I am right now."

McMillan concludes, "I'm technically a better writer now, but these are exactly the kinds of songs my heart needs to sing today.  I hope they do something for your heart too.  I'm glad you finally get to hear them."
