The beloved Disney Channel stars and brothers, "The Jonas Brothers" have officially announced as of Wednesday that the boy band is no more. The "Jonas Brother" cancelled their 2013 tour due to the guys not agreeing on what direction the band should go in, as they each are growing into their seperate lives. The brothers Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25, announced the split of the "Jonas Brothers" on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday morning this week. The trio canceled their 19-city tour just days before it was scheduled to kick off.
"I think it was time, and for us it took some time getting there, but we feel like it's time that the Jonas Brothers come to an end," Kevin said to the anchor Robin Roberts. Nick, the youngest brother, is said to have intiated the split by stating, "We're family first, and that's always been our main priority, and so honesty within what we do as a group was really important. I cam to the table with the guys just before we were prepping to leave for tour, and I shared my heard with them, my feelings," said Nick. "In a nutshell, I said, 'Look, I feel like we've had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them. I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group.' It was a tough conversation... It was the first time we really had that real conversation. It was a few days of working through it."
The three boys have all been working on sepreate projects recently with Nick and Joe trying to release their own single albums, and Kevin currently expecting a child with his wife. "At some point we thought i was best to finish this and just support eachother in our own ventures," Joe stated.
