Jordan Feliz Returns With Sophomore Album 'Future' On March 23
Following up his 2016 hit album The River, Jordan Feliz returns on March 23 with his sophomore effort Future which will be available for preorder soon. The album's lead single "Witness" released last October, with the latest single "Faith" out this past December.
As the new album title suggests, Feliz is reflecting on the question of what God intends for our future.
"I've had a lot of people asking why the record is called Future," Feliz says in a cover reveal video with CCM Magazine. "It's because in my life and a lot of the communities around me, a lot of the conversations have been about how, as a human race, we're all about planning and about making our lives seem perfect and all these things about what our future holds.
He continues, "It's where a lot of fear and stress and anxiety comes from in our lives because, as believers, our future is the inheritance of God. He holds our future every single day in His hands and that's something that was a huge part of where I've been in this last year of making this record. It feels really close to home to write these songs."
Talking about his own expectations, Feliz says, "I'm so excited for you guys to hear these songs, to live with them, to listen to them. I hope that the Lord is able to work in your lives in a big way with these songs and that you're able to just have fun with them."
Feliz is currently preparing to perform at the 2018 Winter Jam Tour Spectacular kicking off tomorrow Jan. 5 in Charleston, W.V., as well as The Future Tour, his very first headline tour, hitting the road this spring with special guests Blanca and For All Seasons.
Future will be available for preorder soon.
