JET Magazine Feature - Joshua Rogers - Newsstands Today

Fresh on the heels of his December #1 Billboard Gospel Charts debut,  Joshua Rogers is highlighted in the upcoming issue of JET Magazine with a full page feature in the Entertainment Spotlight section. The feature will run in the January 28th issue of the magazine (p. 24) with Chaka Khan on the cover. The issue hits select newsstands today and newsstands nationwide this Monday, January 14th. Senior Editor, S. Tia Brown heralds Rogers as "gospel's next teen sensation." Rogers is featured in JET two weeks in a row as his project, Well Done, is currently showcased in the January 14th issue as the number 1 Gospel Album - his photo is sandwiched between Tamar Braxton and Wiz Khalifa in the magazine's popular Playlist section named by JET as "a weekly ranking of the hottest performers in R&B, hip-hop, pop, jazz, and gospel."  JET Magazine is the number 1 African-American newsweekly and has more than 7 million readers.

The BET Sunday Best Season 5 winner is off to an incredible start in 2013 after a whirlwind year. The 18-year-old singing sensation was an unknown contestant from a small town just six months ago on BET's popular reality singing competition and has now taken top billing, made history as both the youngest winner and the first male winner of the series, and secured his place as a household name and mainstay in the gospel music industry. Rogers is Nashville bound for next week's Stellar Awards and will be on hand for multiple artist showcases including giving a musical tribute to Marvin Sapp at the Urban Soul Rewind Showcase along with co-hosting Friday Night Live at the famed BB Kings with singer, Maurette Brown Clark.
