Justin Bieber's Arrest Toxicology Report Shows Traces of Marijuana and Pills in DUI Arrest
Justin Bieber's toxicology report from his DUI arrest in Miami Beach has just been revealed and it confirms he tested positive for marijuana and prescription medication, according to report.
According to the report by TMZ, Bieber's urine was tested following his arrest and when he was caught driving under the influence on January 23. The test revealed that there was THC and Alprazolam in his body at the time of the incident.
Alprazolam is the key ingredient in Xanax, which is a prescription drug for anti-anxiety, according to TMZ.
The toxicology report also demonstrated the 19-year-old singer did not test positive for meth cocaine, opiates, and other drugs.
In the early hours of last Thursday, he was detained in Miami Beach after a police officer pulled him over on suspicion of racing a hired yellow Lamborghini on a public street.
The singer was also indicted with resisting arrest and driving on an expired license. The young star was later freed on bail of $2,500.
According to TMZ, the toxicology report matched with the police department's report when officers said Bieber told them his mother Patricia "Pattie" Mallette had given him with prescription pills.
As for the marijuana found in his system, Bieber also said to the police he had been smoking marijuana in his recording studio throughout the night, according to TMZ.
Bieber has plead that he is innocent regarding the charges.
Earlier this month, law enforcement searched Bieber's home after he allegedly threw eggs at his neighbor's house, which cost thousands of dollars in damages.
The conclusion of that search is still uncertain, but one of the singer's friends was arrested amid the search.
"for all those asking @JeremyBieber and @pattiemallette love their son. Stop passing judgement on a situation u dont understand. i ask people to be kind and hope for the best in people. not assume the worst. Thanks," wrote Bieber's manager Scooter Braun via Twitter last night in support of his client.
