Rumor has it that Selena Gomez, the 22-year-old singer and Disney star, is seemingly more comfortable with Justin Bieber at her side following their romantic Canadian getaway.

According to HollywoodLife, Justin has made a promise to make sure Selena is happy, which means the two are closer than ever. This leads many to believe that Bieber is trying to earn Selena's trust again, amending all those rumors that came between them.

Someone close to Selena Gomez told HollywoodLife, "Selena is feeling stronger than ever and more secure than ever in her relationship with Justin...he promised to give her 100% monogamous relationship and swore off seeing other girls."

The source also commented on Selena's building trust towards Justin, "Obviously she can't control his every move, like whether or not he's still texting certain old flames, but she trusts his word...it's like she has him wrapped around her finger. She definitely has the upper hand."

As it stands, it seems as though the couple are finally happy together and another break up does not seem likely. On a side note, the rekindled couple were spotted at a Holt Renfrew department store in Toronto Canada on September 6. They appeared to be cheerfully shopping and browsing all the store's merchandise.

However, Daily Mail reports that Gomez was spotted all by herself the next day, which led some people to believe that not all is well in paradise. Although, this is most likely controversial gossip that doesn't mean anything in the slightest.

On a side note, the criminal charges against Justin Bieber for criminal assault have been dropped. On December 30, Bieber had an argument with a limo driver; the matter has since been put to rest.
