Gospel Diva Kim Burrell is spending this weekend with her family and friends to celebrate her birthday.

Earlier this week Burrell tweeted, that she was finally home and started her Birthday countdown. Burrell, "August 26th is the BIG day! Love u!"

Today Burrell tweeted with excitement, "My birthday weekend has officially started!! They GOT ME!!!"

Burrell recently recorded a song previously sung by Whitney Houston titled "I Believe in You and Me".
