Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson News 2014: No Rupert Sanders Affair Regrets - 'I Stand By Every Mistake I've Ever Made'
After her recent break up with Twilight movie co-star Robert Pattinson, actress Kristen Stewart has hinted that she has no regrets over her 2012 romantic liaison with married father of two, Rupert Sanders.
Stewart has given an interview in the March 2014 issue of Marie Claire where she boldly states that "I stand by every mistake I've ever made."
Although she does not specifically mention her affair with Sanders, which devastated the director's marriage, and also led to Stewart's own break up with longtime boyfriend Pattinson, many are taking her comments to clearly be backlash at persistent criticism she has faced following her actions. The actress followed up the comments by telling her critics to judge her all they like.
In the interview, the actress also spoke about her remorse at not having completed her higher education by attending college. She also talks intimately about how she feels about love, saying that more recently she has come to realize that love is something out of one's control, and that really she doesn't "have a type."
The 23 year old actress, most commonly known for her performance as Bella in the multi-billion dollar garnering Twilight series, recently embarked on a series of road trips after her much publicized split with fellow actor Robert Pattinson, adored by fans as immortal vampire Edward Cullen in the same Twilight series.
Many predicted that the popular film starlet would be prompted by the recent and unfortunate split with Pattinson to delve into her acting career. But events have not been panning out in that way as far as new projects for her, right now. As far as her career goes, Stewart feels she cannot claim to be rigorously in control.
She told Marie-Claire: "Dude, I have no idea what I'm doing, and that's kind of how I love it. I had no idea Twilight was going to be huge. Certain movies I've done I thought were going to be amazing did nothing. So it's fun not having so much control. It's kind of a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lifestyle."
