Lady Gaga Unveil's Lifelike Dolls in Tokyo [PICTURES] & "ARTPOP" Album Review

Lady Gaga has unveiled lifesize doll replica's of herself in Tokyo over the weekend in her over the top costumes. The pop star who just released her latest album, "ARTPOP", stated that she was more than honored to have replica's of herself. Japanese Industrial and Design companies teamed up with Gaga's record label to produce the lifesize dolls that were inspired by her latest album. If a person was to lean up to the Gaga doll's chest, they would hear "ARTPOP" songs and messages from Lady Gaga herself. When Gaga introduced the new dolls to her friends and family she stated that they became the center of attention."They were so excited to take pictures of me with the dolls and then all of a sudden the dolls took over. And the dolls were the most important thing in the room. And this is a beautiful thing," she said.

The Gaga dolls are not officially for sale quite yet, but the dolls that were shown at the event were initial prototypes of how the real ones will look, feel, and sound like. Gaga plans to have the dolls sold at a high price, so that the proceeds can go towards the 2011 Tsunami victims. "ARTPOP" is Gaga's third studio album and it has not yet hit the rankings of her "Born This Way" album which was released back in 2012. The "ARTPOP" album debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200 with nearly 258,000 copies sold within it's first week, as well as going certified platinum in Canada. Critics have given "ARTPOP" mixed reviews so far by saying it lacks the 'pop' and that is an overwhelming album. Kevin Fallon from Entertainment stated that, 'ARTPOP' is a starkly naked exhibition of an artist whose brilliance is stripped away by her obsession with creativity. For all of her art, Lady Gaga's album never really pops". Markovitz from Mainstream critics, praised the album for being "well-executed" and praised its "strong melodic lines".  Nevertheless, Gaga puts forth another catchy pop album that will continue to bring her stardom. Lady Gaga's "ARTPOP" is now available in stores or on iTunes.
