Lakers to Lamar Odom: "If You Seek Help We'll Put You on The Roster"
With so much talk about Lamar Odom in the media this month from his alleged drug addiction, to him being a missing person, and marriage troubles. Today happens to be one of Odom's better days.
There were rumors that his former NBA team, the Lakers had no interest in Odom, which was not true, but this piece of information only confirms the first two rumors I listed to be nothing, but true!
Apparently an inside source spoke with RadarOnline and Mitch Kupchak, the Laker's general manager says he will give Odom a roster spot, but only if he goes to rehab. The inside source also said, Odom's agent, Jeff Schwartz made the following statement,
"Because the organization and the Buss family are extremely concerned about him. The Lakers are a family and even though Lamar isn't currently on their roster, that doesn't matter, he's a two-time championship Laker. Lamar needs to go to rehab and he's been told by the team that if he goes and completes treatment, there'll be a spot for him."
The Clippers decided to re-sign Odom and he is now a free agent. This extremely generous and supportive offer the Lakers are extending to Odom may be what he really needs, IF IT IS TRUE. The Lakers have not commented on the allegations first hand. We will just have to wait it out and see what new information hits the surface, stay tuned.
