Lamar Odom Pleas Not Guilty to DUI Charges / Khloe Kardashian's Husband Could Face 6 Months in Jail if Convicted

Lamar Odom can't get a break these days. He recently pleaded not guilty after being arrested for a DUI in August. The NBA player was absent during his court hearing Wednesday, opting for his attorney to plea instead.

The 33-year old, former, Los Angeles Clippers player turned reality star, thanks to his wife Khloe Kardashian, was charged with a DUI after his Mercedes Benz SUV was found weaving in and out of lanes around the Studio City area in his hometown of L.A.

The state highway patrol reported Odom was seen swerving in a "serpentine manner."

He's been out on bail for $15,000. If convicted, the former 12th Man of the Year could be sentenced up to 6 months in jail, with a $1,000 fine.

Also, according to California state law, refusing to take a breath or chemical test wins drivers a year without a license.

Usually when someone doesn't opt to take the test, it means they're guilty. But guilty of what? Was Odom drinking or is there more to the story?

Odom's pretrial hearing is scheduled for November 8.

Odom spent a year with the Clippers and is currently a free agent.
