Los Angeles, CA (September 16th, 2022) — Today, Landry Cantrell releases his new song “Source” available at all digital service providers (DREAM Records).  Co-written by Cantrell and Jonathan Gamble, this pop infused mix of both modern uptempo and 80s sounds is extremely fun to listen to.  It’s lyrics provides a fun spin on the meaning of life and what really matters.  The song was produced by Ben Thompson of All Creatures & Neon Feather.  Landry shares more about the song below.

“A tree’s roots are always looking for water, a flower is always looking for sunlight. All living things have this inherent need to seek their source of life and the same is true for our souls. Every moment we are longing to be close to Jesus who is our source of life. In John 6:35 Jesus says, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. If you are looking for peace, hope or joy why not go directly to the source of it all: Jesus!” - Landry Cantrell

Growing up around a recording studio and the church choir, music has always been a huge part of Landry Cantrell's life. He began writing and producing music as a kid with some of his dad’s old studio gear. As a teenager, he became more serious about his music, and after high school he earned a Master’s Certificate in Music Technology and Production from Berklee College of Music. He signed to Dream Records in 2017, releasing two Billboard top 20 singles “Before You” and “Gravity” shortly after. He followed up his Dream records debut with the album “Glasshouse” in 2020. In September of that same year, Landry and his wife, Kelsey, welcomed their son, Cohen, into the world. Taking some time to focus on his family, Landry stepped away from releasing music for a few years. During his time away he never slowed down writing and creating. Now with the upcoming release of his first single in over two years, Landry is excited to finally share some new music with the world. “I have lived a lot of life since “Glasshouse”. It’s my hope that people will be able to relate to the things that I have experienced, and find hope in seeing God’s hand through it all.”
