Thinking about giving a birthday present to Lara? In her latest newsletter, Lara Landon expressed that what would make her happy, is if more children would get their sponsors, "so they can eat, go to school, and learn they have a future," says Landon in the newsletter.

In the newsletter, Landon shares her own experience from being a child sponsor, "I adopted a kid through Compassion a few months ago and I love getting his letters. In the last one he sent he said such funny things like "my favorite activity is cleaning and my hero is Jesus." It made me laugh."

Landon hopes for more children to find their sponsors, "hope you get to sponsor a kid and will also get the joy of receiving letters and pictures and knowing that the little sacrifice on your part is a huge, much needed blessing in the life of a sweet child."
