After a 15-year stint as one of the baddest law enforcers, it's time for fans to say so long to detective John Munch, played by cast member Richard Belzer.

The popular crime drama returns tonight with episode 5 "Wonderland Story" and says goodbye to one of its most beloved cast members. Belzer has played Munch in The Wire, Arrested Development and The X Files. He's been a staple of the show since it first came out and has been cast in over 300 episodes.

In tonight's episode the gang is busy solving a previous rape case, Sarah Walsh. Apparently the past victim has been violated again.

In the promo sneak peak for tonight's episode, Benson is seen interrogating someone and refusing to believe their side of the story. Is that the Internet genius who is manipulating young women?

Either way I'm sure there will be a few goodbyes in order for detective Munch.

Also in the sneak peak promo, Captain Cragen is seen saying "You had one hell of a run."

Olivia can hardly hold back her emotions when she tells her co-worker "I will miss you John Munch."
