LG V20 Update, Price News, Update: Verizon Rolling Out Nougat Upgrade, Ensures Performance Enhancement
Verizon already rolled out the LG V20 update, which claimed ensure "performance enhancements."
According to the report, in addition to the performance enhancements, the LG V20 update would also include security boosts from Google and addresses "known issues."
Aside from being among the first to roll out the Android Nougat with the LG V20 update, Verizon also apparently offers the cheapest rates among US telcos. The units will start selling online for $672 without a contract or $28 per month.
T-Mobile, meanwhile, offers the same unit at $769, while AT&T has the price fixed at $830.
You can already start purchasing units starting Oct. 25, also the first to offer the LG V20 on retail compared to the other US carriers. There are other freebies as well, including H3 headphones from Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay, or the Stylo 2 V from LG.
People can also trade in their phones to get $300 rebate.
It's understood that people who buy from Verizon will already have gotten the LG V20 update. If not, they can always go to Settings, click About Phone and then Software Updates. You do need to have a good Wi-Fi connection, and fully charged battery.
In related news, Android Headlines said that if in case your LG V20 update doesn't happen over the air, you will have to force-update your unit using the Software Upgrade Assistant Tool, which can be downloaded through Verizon and into your computer. Sync your new unit to your PC and open the program. The rest would be easy to follow.
