Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is producing a one-hour drama based on his life for The CW and is being written by Miles Feld

The name of the special right now is titled The Noise, which was created by Durst and chronicles his rise to fame in the 1990s with his band Limp Bizkit.

Other executive producers from CBS TV Studios are Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum working on the upcoming show.

Tannenbum and Durst worked together two years ago as well to create the sitcom Douchebag for CBS. That series concept also focused on a rock star as he balanced his wild ways and his new life as a family man.

Durst beat the odds in the early 1990's, coming from a volatile home life and rising above the underground scene to emerge with a highly successful rap/rock band. Limp Bizkit became one of the biggest bands in the world by the end of the 90's with hits such as George Michael's "Faith" and their songs, "Nookie," "Break Stuff" and "My Generation". They also were a mainstay on the popular MTV show "Total Request Live".

In 2013 Fred Durst executive produced the Pawn Shop Chronicles and has been building his production resume the last several years.

Limp Bizkit is still touring and released a new music video for their song "Ready To Go" featuring Lil Wayne in July 2013. This will be the first track off their upcoming seventh studio album. The album is being produced by Cash Money Records.
