Lorde 'Team' New Music Video Released Dec 2013, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Lorde has released the new music video for her single "Teams" off of her new album Pure Heroine.
Lorde shares the inspiration behind her video on Facebook before it's Tuesday release saying, "This video was borne from a dream i had a few months ago about teenagers in their own world, a world with hierarchies and initiations, where the boy who was second in command had acne on his face, and so did the girl who was queen." She continued, "I dreamt about this world being so different to anything anyone had ever seen, a dark world full of tropical plants and ruins and sweat."
Lorde sports a long, black-and-white dress and has her hair in cornrows. "And of this world, I dreamt about tests that didn't need to be passed in order to be allowed in: sometimes the person who loses is stronger," Lorde said of her music video.
Pure Heroine is Lorde's debut, full length album. At the young age of only 17, she already has a huge hit song off of her album named "Royals" that has gone to No. 1 in multiple countries including the U.S.
Lorde, real name, Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor, was born and raised in Devonport, North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand. She signed with Universal at the age of 13 and released her first EP, The Love Club, in November of 2012.
