MacBook Pro 2014 Release Date, Rumors: Intel to Supply New Chipsets - Lighter, Thinner Devices

Apple fans are excited to learn that Intel is prepared to make leaps and bounds in producing faster and more efficient chipsets concerning future smart devices.

The Cupertino tech giant is said to be working with Intel to produce Broadwell, a brand new processor targeted to run inside the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2014.

As of now, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are currently running on Haswell Intel Core i5 chipsets, giving Apple laptops an advantage in affordability.

In a related report by Apple Insider, Intel is planning to replace Qualcomm processors installed on iPhone units especially since Apple is building a solid partnership with the systems provider.

While Apple is looking forward to a 12-inch MacBook Air equipped with Retina display, critics predict that there will be no significant additions to the Pro 2014 device.

The upcoming MacBook will still come with a CD/DVD drive, which has actually become obsolete for fans of downloadable content. It is expected that all Apple devices in 2015, including iPhone, will be running on Haswell chipsets, making them the fastest and lightest gadgets to be built thus far.

Online rumors anticipate that MacBook Pro 2014 is scheduled to be released in September, but no price tag as been seen as of yet.
